Zella Mary King, age 79 of Willard, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Oak Grove Manor in Mansfield, Ohio. She was born February 28, 1939 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Charles and Pearlie (Jenkins) Russell. Zella was a homemaker, taking care of her family. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
She is survived by a daughter, Robin Smith of Tiffin; four sons, Steve King of Willard, Robert (Ann) King of Milford Center, OH, Chris King of Willard, and Rich (Stella) King of Orlando, Florida; sixteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; three brothers, Claude Russell of Ashland, Kentucky, Paul Russell of Willard, Harold Russell of Kentucky; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul King, who passed away November 2, 2017, and whom she married November 12, 1957; and eight siblings.
Visitation will be held at the Secor Funeral Home on Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, June 15, 2018, at 11:00 AM with Pastor James Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio.
