Zandra D. Montgomery, age 66, resident of New Haven, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at her home. She was born on March 4, 1958 in Willard, Ohio to the late C.B. and Melba (Blair) Meade.

A lifelong resident of Willard, Zandra was a Willard High School graduate who went on to work for Pioneer Industries and Midwest Industries, from where she retired. Zandra dedicated her life to her family and spent her days cooking, baking, and creating memories with those she loved most. A nurturing soul, Zandra was deeply devoted to her role as mother and grandmother. She also had a love for animals and often found tending to her garden.

Zandra’s love and care extended beyond her family, as she was a mother to all who knew her. Her ability to nurture, her selflessness, and her warmth made her a cherished figure in the lives of many. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her son, John (Claudia) Meade; two step children, Ben (Monica) Montgomery Jr. and Jennifer Montgomery; her grandchildren; her siblings, Doug Meade, Debbie (Doug) Francis, Audie Meade and Dennis Meade; and her special nephew Josh (Angela) Bartell, who helped look after her; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Zandra was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Montgomery who she married on May 9, 1992 and passed away on July 2, 1999; and a sister, Deanna Bartell.

Family and friends may visit at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. Zandra’s funeral service will begin at 11:00 am and burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven. Online condolences can be left for her family by visiting www.secorfuneralhomes.com.

I graduated with her in 78. I hadn't seen here in years, but have never met a more quiet, humble, and friendly person. She was, and still is, one of the best, and to her family I am very sorry for your loss. I really mean this.
