William J. “Bill” Albright, age 65, of Plymouth, Ohio passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at his home. He was born on December 24, 1945 in Norwalk, Ohio to Donald and Esther (Manlet) Albright. Bill was employed with MTD in Willard and was a veteran of the US Army having served during Vietnam. He was a member of the Willard Golf Club, the Willard American Legion, enjoyed horse and dog track betting, golfing and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Edna (Hipsher) Albright, whom he married on November 13, 1976; a daughter, Tiffany (Jerimie) Rankin of Delaware, OH; and a son, Scott (Nicole) Albright of Galena, OH; a grandson, Cole Rankin and future grandson, Parker Albright; his mother, Esther Albright of Willard; two sisters, Susette (Jim) Ditz of Port Clinton, OH; and Jeanne (David) Carmean of Willard; two brothers, Steve (Nancy) Albright of Attica; and Tom Albright of Willard; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Albright.
Visitation will be on Friday, April 8, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Willard, Ohio with Fr. Stanley S. Szybka officiating. Burial will be at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Willard Golf Club, the American Cancer Society or the Hospice of North Central Ohio. Im so sorry to hear of bills passing. In the short time i knew bill he was a very nice person and comical. Ive been very lucky to have met the hisphers and albrights. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. remember the good times you’ve had. Please take care and god bless you all.

I can’t speak enough of how great of man Bill was and how much he will be missed. The reflection on my childhood brings up many fond memories of spending time with your entire family, and as I think about Bill all the laughs that were had and the smiles that tradionally encompassed his face come to mind. Bill’s dad was waiting with open arms for his son’s arrival along with OUR DEAR LORD.
