Violet A. (Frazee) Miller, age 83, resident of New Washington, Ohio passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at The Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born on June 28, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Charles and Loretta (Wilks) Frazee.

Violet was a 1959 graduate of Tiro High School and Valedictorian of her class. She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in New Washington where she was active in making prayer shawls and helping with funeral luncheons. In her spare time, Violet enjoyed taking care of her flower garden and playing Sudoku.

She is survived by her two children, Charles “Chuck” W. (Dayna) Miller of Fredericktown and Karen (Steven) Chockley of Athens, Alabama; nine grandchildren, Joshua (Nicole) Miller, Jebediah (Mariah) Miller, Levi (Caela) Miller, Logan (Vanessa) Miller, Austin Miller and Keivyn Chockley; nine great grandchildren, Hudson, Cabela, McKenzie, Kylie, Grace, Emmett, Baylor, Brody and Bronson; sister, Sharon (Doug) Snipes; and sister-in-law, Jan (Kaple) Frazee.

In addition to her parents, Violet was preceded in death by her husband, Kevin Woodrow Miller, who she wed on September 26, 1959; and brother, Tom Frazee and brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Shirley (Strohm) Frazee.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 4, 2024 at Sandusky Cemetery, 4413 Biddle Road, Tiro, OH 44887 with Pastor Kevin Mohr officiating. Following the graveside service, a luncheon will be held at St. Johns Lutheran Church in New Washington. Online condolences can be left for the family by visiting www.secorfuneralhomes.com.

I will always lover her and will miss her dearly. Hopefully, she is now at the table celebrating with Uncle Woody, Uncle Bill, Aunt Shirley, and Dad. I sure hope Uncle Woody blew his Bengals Horn when she arrived. Rest in peace Aunt Violet.
