Thomas E. "Tom" Thompson, age 80, of Plymouth, Ohio, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024 at Stein Hospice in Sandusky, Ohio. Tom was born on July 5, 1944 in Grayson, KY to the late Earl Thompson and Virginia (Valandingham) Flint. Tom proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Plymouth American Legion and Willard Moose.  He was an avid car aficionado, was known for his great sense of humor, enjoyed traveling, and loved spending time with his family.

Tom is survived by his children, Sherri (Darrell) Nester, Bryan (Krista) Thompson, and Justin (Tara) Thompson; step-daughter, Leisa (Sam) Arnold; grandchildren, Jared (Emily) Nester, Benjamin Nester, William Nester, Bryce Thompson, Amber Hochstetler, and Matthew Hochstetler; and great grandchildren, Carson Nester, Bexley Nester, and Bodhi Nester; sisters, Shari (Dick) Beidelschies and Elizabeth (Rick) Knuckles. Tom is also survived by his significant other, Bobbi Osborne as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Tom is preceded in death by his step-father Gene Flint; brother, Larry Thompson; grandson, Joshua Hochstetler; and nephew, Kyle Beidelschies.

Visitation will be on Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 11:00 AM until the time of his service at 1:00 PM at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio with Pastor Joe Gibson officiating. From our family, sending heartfelt condolences to Tom's family and loved ones. A family friend for years, always looked forward to seeing Tom when we visited Ohio. He always had his eye in the sky. He was an inspiration with energy to spare. Glad to see Tom will be buried at Maple Grove where many of our loved ones rest. Rest in "Peace Love and Understanding"
