Thelma C. Vredenburgh, age 89, resident of Plymouth, Ohio passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at her home. She was born on February 16, 1919 in Chatfield, Ohio to the late Arnold and Lena (Cook) Rockey and had been a Plymouth resident for over 40 years. She was a 1937 graduate of Chatfield High School and been employed with the former Schrier’s Cheese in Bucyrus and Miami Systems in Shelby. She enjoyed her family and especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Rita (Ron) Mumea; and Larry (Bettie) Vredenburgh all of Plymouth; six grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Walden Vredenburgh in 1976; and a sister, Hope Smith.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, Decemeber 13, 2008 in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth with Reverend Linda Kaufman officiating. No calling hours will be observed.
