Terry Vernon Lutz, age 70, of Willard, Ohio, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023 at Avita Hospital in Ontario, Ohio. He was born on February 10, 1953 in Willard, Ohio to Vernon J. Lutz and Eleanor (Snook) Lutz Roberts. Terry had retired from CSX Railroad after 40 years of service. He enjoyed the outdoors, mostly by gardening, astrophotography, photography of birds and wildlife, flying drones and arrowhead hunting. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou (Adams) Lutz, whom he married on April 11, 1979; daughters, Teresa Sykes, and Rebecca (Charles) Plotner, both of Willard; grandchildren, Brayden Sykes, Makenzie Sykes and Easton Toth; brother, Roger Lutz of Willard; step brothers, Jim (Debbie) Roberts and Ken (Louise) Roberts; step brother-in-law, David Bisel; sisters-in-law, Judy (Lofty) Crofts and Brenda (Todd) Bub; brother-in-law, Denny Stone; mother-in-law, Luella Pool; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Vernon J. Lutz; mother and step father, Eleanor (George) Roberts; brother, Jeff Lutz; sister, Judy (Richard) Beebe; step sister, Carol Bisel; brother-in-law, David (Angie) Adams; sister-in-law, Barb Stone and father-in-law, Stanley Adams.
Visitation will be at Secor Funeral Home on Monday, March 20, 2023 from 4:00 PM- 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 from 11:00 AM until the time of Terry’s memorial service at 3:00 PM.
