Our beloved mother and grandmother, Teresa “Terry” Arnold, 67 of Willard, Ohio passed away Thursday, October 31, 2024 at the University Hospital in Cleveland. She was born January 2, 1957 in El Paso, Texas to Donald and Nancy (Leak) O’Dell.
Terry was the heart of her family, and she cherished her roles as wife, mother, and grandmother. Outside of her home, she was an active member of Grace Methodist Church where she served as a board member to numerous committees.
Terry was also a familiar face in the community where she retired as Clerk of Council for the city of Willard, was member of the area Kiwanis, served as 4-H advisor, among countless other positions. The story of her road to motherhood lead her to be a proud supporter of Abigail Pregnancy Services. Her advocation for children continued having been one of the founders of Grace Christian Preschool.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, David Arnold and two children, Justin (Aliya) Arnold of Belleville and Jen (Lucas) Goodrow of Knoxville, TN; 5 grandchildren, Addy, JoJo, Annie, Jack and Charlie; parents, Donald and Nancy O’Dell; 2 sisters, Laurie (John) Flockenzier and Linda (Denny) Byron; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Terry’s calling hours will be Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 11:00am to 1:00 pm at the Grace Methodist Church in Willard. With her funeral service to follow at 1pm with Pastor Mike Leonard and Pastor McKelvey officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery in Willard, Ohio.
