Tammy L . Jones (Ratliff), age 54, of Galion, Ohio, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020, at Ohio Health Hospital, in Mansfield, following a lengthy illness. Tammy was born August 14, 1965, in Willard, Ohio, to Bill Ratliff and the late Avenelle Collins.
Tammy loved being around her family and friends; that was the most important thing to her. Anyone who knew Tammy knows she was one of a kind and was a joy to be around. She was an avid Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes fan. Tammy had a heart of gold and her goal in life was to help people and brighten their day anyway she could.
She is survived by her companion of 25 years, Barbara (Bobbie Jo) Nelson, whom she dearly loved; Rob and Megan Nelson; grandbabies, Brylee, Alaina and one on the way; her sister, Melissa (Harold) Hamilton of Willard, Ohio; her Brother, Terry Ratliff of Lexington, Kentucky; her sister, Theresa Newsome of Unionville, Virginia; and a half-brother, Nicholas Ratliff of Willard, Ohio. Along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends, who are too numerous to count, but she loved them all.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Avenelle Collins; her brother, Roger Ratliff; maternal grandparents, Willie & Rachel Collins and paternal grandparents Hardwick and Iva Ratliff.
A memorial service will be held at a later date to be determined after the Coronavirus (COVID-19) band is lifted, at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, with Pastor Dennis Elkins. Burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Secor Funeral Home for her family. Melissa, Terry and Theresa, May God lighten your hearts as you go through this time of sorrow. Tammy was a "hoot", always smiling and ready to give me a hug when she saw me in the cemetery. She always called me "Aunt Kathy" and she'd smile a little. May God bless all of you.

We're going to miss you so much Tammy! You were the first person we spoke to when we bought our home across from you 10 years ago. Watched us go through our ups and downs, watched our kids grow up and were always available with a smile and that laugh of yours! Keeping all of your loved ones in our thoughts and prayers.
Love to you all
