Susan L. Maudsley, age 78, of Willard, Ohio, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024 surrounded by her loving family at Grant Medical Center. She was born on October 2, 1945 in Willard, Ohio to the late Tony and Della (Adams) Predieri. Susan was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. She retired in 2008 from R.R. Donnelley and Sons, after working 38 years. She enjoyed volunteering at Mercy Willard Hospital. Her family was her most important job. She was the biggest fan of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She had a love for all animals, especially her two beloved fur babies, Coco and Parker.
She is survived by her husband, James “Tiger” Maudsley whom she married on June 24, 1994; children, Sean “Pudge” Maudsley of Bucyrus, Shannon Wolford (Todd Helms) of Port Clinton, Jamie (Michael) Fuller of Shelby; Chris (Tricia) Moyer of Shelby; grandchildren, McKenzie Maudsley (Patrick Boyle), Kenneth (Nikki) Fagan, Hunter Wolford (Brandon Bragg), Madline (Andy) Robinson, Brease Chamberlin, Jagger Wolford, and Michael Moyer, daughter-in-law, Angel Rinehart; great grandchildren, Sebastian Boyle and Willow Wolford; siblings, Barbara Turner, Tony Jr. Predieri and Stephen (Janet) Predieri; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Moyer; son, Michael Moyer; siblings, Pauline (Wayne) Tschappat, Julie (Robert) Danhoff, Rosemary (Karl) Lenhart, brother-in-law, Ruben Turner; sister-in-law, Virginia Predieri; infant sister, Dorothy Predieri; brothers-in-law, Robert Moyer, Raymond Moyer, and James (Gerry) Moyer; sister-in-law, Leona Gearhart; and parents-in-law, Earnest and Mildred Moyer.
Visitation will be at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Sunday, June 16, 2024 from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church on Monday, June 17, 2024 at 11:00 AM with Fr. Ron Schock officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church or to donor’s choice.
