Shirley Faye Griffith Pineda, born June 6, 1948, entered into eternal rest at Willard Mercy Hospital after a short illness, surrounded by the love of her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Marie Rife Griffith; her stepfather, James William Griffith; and her cherished brother, James Edward Griffith (Eddie).

She is survived by her devoted husband, Neftali Pineda, and her loving brothers: Sgt 1st class. Gary William Griffith (Patty), retired Army; Officer James Jeffrey Griffith (Denise), retired Parma Heights Police; and Reverend Gregory L. Griffith (Monica Rene), Senior Pastor of Willard Church of God.
Shirleys life was marked by unwavering devotion to her family. She played a pivotal role in helping raise three boys in a single-parent household, ensuring they were nurtured with love and guidance. Her passion for service extended beyond her family as she dedicated her professional life to caring for others. She held management positions in nursing homes across Ohio, Virginia, and Georgia, eventually earning her Nursing Home Administrators License in the state of Virginia.

A woman of deep faith, Shirley was a devoted member of the Willard Church of God, 4551 Willard West Road, Willard, Ohio. She served tirelessly as a lay minister of helps, touching countless lives in her community. Her servants heart led her to organize and oversee Senior Connect Dinners, funeral blessing meals for grieving families, and ministry outreach at local nursing homes, where she shared words of comfort and faith.

Shirley had a heart that knew no bounds when it came to giving. She treasured her friendships and loved those around her with deep sincerity. Her kindness, generosity, and compassionate spirit will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Her legacy of love and service will live on in the lives she touched. While our hearts grieve her passing, we take comfort in knowing that she has been welcomed into her heavenly home, where she now rests in eternal peace.

Calling hours will be on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at the Church of God in Willard, Ohio from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Additional calling hours will be on Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the start of her funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of God in Willard, Ohio with Pastor Ben Patrick and Rhonda Holbrook officiating. Burial will follow at Ridgeville Cemetery in NorthRidgeville, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be to The Willard Church of God senior connect dinners.
