Sharon E. Hecker, age 64, resident of Willard, Ohio, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2019, at her home. She was born on October 15, 1954, in Johnstown, PA, to Bernard and Elizabeth (Finnigan) Harris. Sharon was a nurse at Quality Care Nursing Home and was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Catholic War Vets and the Moose Lodge. She loved playing Bingo and computers.
She is survived by her husband, Keith B. Hecker, whom she married on May 21, 1976; three sons, Kevin Lee (Genevieve) Hecker of Chesapeake, VA; Keith D. (Sylvia) Hecker, Catania, Sicily; and Jason P. (Colleen) Hecker of Norfolk, VA; grandchildren, Noelle Conley of Florida; Roan Hecker of Norfolk, VA; Finn Hecker of Norfolk, VA; Benjamin Hecker of Chesapeake, VA; and Alex Langway of Chesapeake, VA; four siblings, Paul (Sally) Harris of Blairsville, PA; Kathy Book of Baltimore, MD; Loretta Stevens of Johnstown, PA and Dennis (Tammy) Harris of Johnstown, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Elizabeth (Finnigan) Harris.
A funeral mass will be Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church in Johnstown, PA.
