Ruth Striker, age 81, of Dale Ave., Willard, passed away Monday, Feb. 2, 2004 at the Fisher-Titus Hospital in Norwalk. She was born Nov. 28, 1922 in Floyd County, KY to the late Malcom and Nancy (Ousley) Wright and had been a Willard resident the majority of her life. She formerly worked at the Pioneer Rubber Co. in Willard and was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters and one son-in-law, Cheryl Ross of Evansville, IN; Sharon and Michael McGaff of Cedar Park, TX; Kathy Striker of Toledo; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Doug Striker of Willard; Al and Linda Striker of Shelby; 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives. She is preceeded in death by her husband, John Striker in 1988; a son, Terry Patton; 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 AM with Reverend Clair Brewer of the First Presbyterian Church officiating.
