Ruth Sheibley, age 86, of New Washington, Ohio passed away Monday, December 3, 2012 at The Willows in Willard, Ohio. She was born November 13, 1926 in Carrothers, Ohio to late Victor and Helen (Dick) Pauly. She was a member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church in New Washington and the Rosary Altar Society. She enjoyed mowing the yard and most of all spending time with her family.
She is survived by 4 sons, Robert (Chris) Sheibley of New Washington, Gene (Marion) Sheibley of Bucyrus, Tom (Sharon) Sheibley and Tim Sheibley of New Washington; daughter, Susan S. Sheibley of North Carolina; eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; two sisters, Pat Snay of New Washington; and Mary Yost of Norwalk; and a brother, James (Mary Ellen) Pauly of Galion.
She is preceded in death by her husband, L. Paul Sheibley, whom she married April 17, 1948 and who died June 5, 1999; her parents, Victor and Helen Pauly; a granddaughter, Emilia “Emi” Sheibley and a brother, Robert Pauly.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 5, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Secor Funeral Home in New Washington, Ohio, with a prayer service at 4:00 P.M. The funeral mass will be Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at the St. Bernard Catholic Church in New Washington, with Fr. Eric Culler officiating. Burial will be at a later date at the St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery in New Washington. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Bernard Catholic Church in New Washington. I am so sorry for your loss, I use to take care of ruth at the nursing home she was such a joy, she will definitely be missed, prayers for your family during this time.
So sorry on the death of your mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. May you know we will be thinking of the Sheibley family at this time.
