Ruth Ann Dawson, age 70, resident of Willard, Ohio, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019, at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky, after a 4 month courageous battle with cancer. She was born on November 2, 1948, in Willard, Ohio, to Milton and Arbutus (Handshoe) Lykins.

Ruth is survived by her 2 daughters, Kelli (John) Adams of Plymouth, Ohio, Shari Paxton of Aiken, South Carolina; 5 grandchildren, Kami (Kevin) Pelter, Spencer Davidson, Hunter Adams, Lexie Adams, Hagen Adams; and her mother, Arbutus Lykins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Milton Lykins; daughter, Kimberly Davidson; and a brother, Ed Lykins.

At this time, there will be no calling hours or funeral service observed. Burial will take place at a later date at Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven.
