Ruben Rodriguez, age 68, of Willard, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at St. Vincent’s Heart Center in Toledo, Ohio. He was born on July 22, 1947 in Alice, Texas to the late Benino and Tomasa (Guerra) Rodriguez. Ruben worked at MTD in Willard and enjoyed fishing, going to casinos but most of all, spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Felicita “Fela”; 4 daughters, Maricela Rodriguez and spouse, Baldemar Saavedra of Willard, Diana Rodriguez of Plymouth, Melissa Rodriguez of Willard, Monica Rodriguez of Willard; 2 sons, Ruben Jr. (Kyla) Rodriguez of Willard, Rolando Rodriguez of Willard; 23 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Benino, Israel, Leobrado Rodriguez of Alice, Texas; 3 sisters, Teresa Mendoza, Elma Rodriguez, Hortencia Garcia all of Alice, Texas.
In addition to his parents, Ruben was preceded in death by his daughter, Imelda Muniz; great grandson, Michael Aaiden Rodriguez; 1 sister, Ofela Torres; 2 brothers, Isnael and Ismael Rodriguez.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Friday, February 12, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. A funeral service will be at the funeral home on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Sylvia Morales officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
