Rose M. Brown, age 91, of Plymouth, Ohio passed away Friday, April 2,
2021 at the St. Vincent's Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. She was
born in Plymouth, Ohio on December 3, 1929 to the late Vincent and
Catherine (Ragusa) Alexander. Rose was a lifelong member of St. Joseph
Catholic Church in Plymouth and was a member of the Rosary Altar
Society. She enjoyed keeping in touch with family and friends through
phone calls and sending cards and clippings. Rose also enjoyed reading
and listening to the radio.
She is survived by a daughter, Victoria (Gary) Beamer of New Haven,
Ohio; a son, Christopher D. Brown of Chicago, IL; a granddaughter,
Alexandra D. Barnaby-Brown of Chicago, IL; a sister, Mary Dowdy of
Kentucky; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband,
Florian A. Brown; sister, Theresa Bilka; and brother, Joseph Alexander.
Visitation will be at Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth on Saturday, April
10, 2021 from 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM. Her family asks everyone to wear a
mask and social distance. Her funeral mass will be on Saturday, April
10, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Plymouth with Fr.
Chris Mileski officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in
Plymouth. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic

Grandma Rose will always have a special place in my heart. I truly loved spending time with her and appreciated every moment. Im going to miss her phone calls checking up on me, visiting her and the kittens at the farm and seeing her smile. It won’t be the same without her.

So sorry to hear about Rose's passing. She and I talked quite often. I enjoyed our talks. She was always friendly. When we were kids our families would get together and we (the kids) would play outside. God be with you at this time Chris and Vicky.

Dear Family of Rose Brown: I became friends with Rose through attending the dinners at St. Joseph Plymouth Church. She would call me and remind me when the church was having a dinner. I always enjoyed our phone conversations and will miss her greatly. Our last phone call was just a few weeks ago. I am so very sorry for your loss. She was a fun lady.
