Ronald Dwight Keesy, age 91, of Prospect St., Shiloh, passed away suddenly, Tuesday evening, Jan. 20, 2004 at the MedCentral Hospital in Shelby.
Born Dec. 2, 1912 in Venice Twp, Seneca County, he had been a Shiloh resident since 1941. He was a farmer before coming to Shiloh. He retired as street superintendent, Village of Shiloh, in 1977. Mr. Keesy enjoyed gardening.
Surviving are 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Mary Keesy of Shiloh and Carol Ann & Robert McMillion of Willard; son and daughter-in-law, Dale & Rita Keesy of Shiloh; 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; sister, Wanda Scott of Bucyrus.
He was preceeded in death by his parents, Royal & Grace (Nesbitt) Keesy; wife, Gladys (Barnd) Keesy; 3 brothers, Claron, Denton and Farrell Keesy; 3 sisters, Iris Reitz, Coralie Enders and Aldene Adams.
There will be no calling hours. Graveside Service will be held 1:30 P.M. Friday, at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh, with Rev. Dan Humrichouser officiating. Memorial expressions can be made to the Shiloh Fire Dept., Rescue Squad, and sent to the Secor Funeral Home, 35 Railroad St., Plymouth, OH 44865.
