Robin Cheri Smith, 63, of Tiffin, Ohio passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at the St. Francis Nursing Home in Tiffin. She was born on December 2, 1958 in Willard, Ohio to the late Paul and Zella (Russell) King.
After attending Willard High School, Robin went on to work for Pepperidge Farm for 13 years. Robin decided to follow her passion in life, helping people, and acquired her Associate’s degree from NCSC as a Social Worker’s assistant. It was then that she was given the opportunity to do what she loved and help people with mental illness, addiction and MRDD.
Her family was her main priority in life and she cherished the time spent with her children, grandchildren and animals. She enjoyed reading, and listening to her favorite 70’s Rock N Roll bands.
Robin is survived by her two children, Angie (Devon) Buckley of Tiffin and Michael (Natalie) Smith of Steubenville, OH; eight grandchildren, Adrian and Alex Nedolast, Kailub Buckley, Devon Buckley, Maddox Smith, Arlo Buckley, Scarlett Smith and Bailey Buckley; four brothers, Steve King of Willard, Robert (Ann) King of Milford Center, OH, Chris King of Willard and Rich (Stella) King of Orlando, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Robin was preceded in death by her nephew, Steven Shirey; maternal and paternal grandparents; beloved aunt, Hadie Hensley as well as numerous other aunts and uncles.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard from 11:00 a.m. until the time of her funeral service at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. I grew up with your mom/grandma and graduated from high school with her. I spent a lot of time at her house watching her brothers and had a lot of good times. Robin was so kind, funny, and a good friend. I also remember her mom who was always so sweet and kind to me. She will be missed by many.
