Robert “Bob” E. Wibright, age 72, of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023 at his home. He was born on June 12, 1950 in Willard, Ohio to Sherman and Ethel (Bland) Wibright and, until recently, had been a lifelong Willard resident. He had retired from the former Norwalk Furniture Company and he was a life member of the National Hot Rod Association.
He is survived by three sisters, Betty (Ken) Pfleiderer of Bucyrus; Barb (Ed) Zeigler of Shiloh; and Nancy (Mike) Atkins of Willard; five nieces and nephews, Jim Pfleiderer of Bucyrus, Dave (Lisa) Pfleiderer of Bucyrus, Kevin Zeigler of Shiloh, Michael Atkins of Willard, and Lori Atkins of Toledo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Ethel (Bland) Wibright and a niece Patti Hinze.
Calling hours and funeral rites will not be observed at this time. Secor Funeral Home in Willard is assisting his family with his funeral arrangements. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences can be made at www.secorfuneralhomes.com

So very sorry to read this news. Bob was a very intelligent guy and had an excellent sense of humor. He was truly a "gentle giant" of a man. I have lived in seven different states and met thousands of people over the years, but no one I ever met was a better person than Bob!!! Condolences to his family and many friends. Bob was always in the stands at basketball games and after school, I would see him from time to time and he was always, always very pleasant and stopped for a couple of minutes to visit. He was a very genuine kind soul. Rest in Peace Bob!

I was so saddened to hear of Bob's passing. I have not seen him in quite a while, but we had so much fun when we were younger. Bob taught me how to drive a stick shift, and then told me never to tell he had taught me! I think he was unsatisfied with the results. Heaven is getting a great guy who will be missed by many.
