Raymond L. Hanson Jr., age 63, of Willard, Ohio passed away Friday, May 14, 2021 at his home. He was born December 21, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Raymond L. Sr. and Mary Sue (Moore) Hanson. He was an avid MOPAR dragstrip racer and built his own race cars with his brother Lee. He loved camping and going out on the boat at Lake Erie.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Mindy Snipes of Plymouth and Stephanie Hanson (Jody Morales) of Plymouth and 3 grandchildren, Isaiah and Gavin Snipes and Kayliann France; 4 siblings, Brenda (George) Berridge of New Washington, Esther (Greg) Dye of Willard, Ira Lee Hanson of Willard and Chrystal (Jene) Jacoby of Norwalk; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Sr. and Mary Sue Hanson; maternal grandparents, Ballard & Mary Moore and Dolly Eden, paternal grand parents, Vern & Eva Hanson; best friend, Megan (his dog).
Visitation will be Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio where the funeral service will be Saturday at 1:00 PM with Rev. Earl Sexton officiating.
