Condolences to All of Phyllis’ family. My family resided in Va. but we made many happy trips to Kentucky ( home place of Phyllis) to visit family. I remember when Phyllis and Willard got married and I was very excited to attend my first wedding as a young girl cousin to Phyllis, Judy and Luther. When Phyllis’ daughter Jeannie was married I was able to attend her wedding as a grown woman. Memories live in our heart so we can always remember our loved ones. I am thankful to know Phyllis is at peace. The 23 Psalm tells us The Lord is our Shepherd. I pray blessings and peace to all of Phyllis’ family.

"Heaven is getting a good One" . . . Our mother Gladys Irene Slone Workman taught Phyllis in her first years at the one-time School house there in Soft Shell. Kentucky. As a 6yr old I always remember attending Phyllis & Willard's wedding there at the family homeplace - - what a Memory !! Our best to our cousins today and "May The Lord Lift Up His Countenance Upon You and Give You PEACE".

Willard and Phyllis were friends of the family. They stayed all night with us several times. I remember one time my sister Janice and I seen Willard coming to church at Little Flock. I said come on Janice and we went to greet him. Janice was on one arm and I on the other arm. We laughed all the way to the house. He said he would never forget. In 1994 during a real bad snow storm, Willard and Phyllis traveled to my dad's funeral. Semis were turned over and cars in the ditch but they kept on traveling. Then Willard said no about having a warm bed to sleep in, he said all night at the church house with dad. Phyllis was in a nice warm bed at Liberty and Arpie's house. Hope this is not to long, God Bless Jeannie and her beautiful family.
