Pedro Cruz, age 68, of Willard, Ohio, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022 at University Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. He was born in Acatlan De La Cruz, Guerrero, México, on July 29, 1953 to the late Cipriano De La Cruz Grande and Margarita Benitez Cortez. Pedro was a spray painter at Midwest Industries in Willard and enjoyed working on cars, home remodeling, gardening and playing guitar and accordion.
He is survived by his children, Faustito Cruz and Reynita Cruz; 9 grandchildren; brothers, Jose (Mary) and Salvador; sisters, Reyna, Petra, Marcela, Rosalia, Juana, Dolores and Bertha; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Fausto; and a sister, Guadalupe.
Friends and family are invited to visit at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. with his funeral service to follow at 5:00 p.m. Burial will take place at a later date in Mexico.
