Pauline J. Babcock, age 81, of New Haven, Ohio, passed away at her home surrounded by her family, on Saturday, November 16, 2013. She was born August 19, 1932 in Celeryville, Ohio to the late Esko and Jacoba (Postema) Kok. She graduated from the New Haven High School and was a member of the New Haven Methodist Church. She enjoyed watching birds, wintering in Florida, watching softball games and the Cleveland Indians.
She is survived by her husband, Roger A. Babcock Sr, whom she married October 16, 1953; 2 sons, Thom Babcock of New Haven and Roger “Alan” (Cindy) Babcock of Willard; 2 daughters, Pat (Terry) Robinson of Willard and Barb Babcock of New Haven; 3 grandchildren, Jason (Amy) Robinson of Willard, Amber (Rory) McKee of Shelby and Michael (Julia) Robinson of Schweinfurt, Germany; 3 great grandchild, Benjamin Robinson of Schweinfurt, Germany, Brian Ball and Connor Ball of Willard; sister, Helen Weaver of Falmouth, Michigan.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Esko and Jacoba Kok; Daughter, Victoria Babcock and brother, John Kok.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 19, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio where the funeral service will be Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 10:00 A.M., with Pastor Cliff Hughes officiating. Burial will be at the Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice of Sandusky. I’m so sorry for your loss….the time I got to know your mom was special to me……she was a very sweet and kind lady….I enjoyed spending time with her and doing cross words…..she will b greatly missed…..
