Paul E. Boetcher, age 69, resident of New Haven, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Willard Mercy Hospital. He was born on January 31, 1943 in Willard, Ohio to the late Robert and Cleo (Wyandt) Boetcher. Paul enjoyed wood crafts, going to auctions, gardening and most of all, spending time with his family.
Paul is survived by his wife, Wilma (Bailey) Boetcher, of New Haven, whom he married on March 6, 1963; one son, Tom (Mercy) Boetcher of Fort Wayne, Indiana; three daughters, Debbie (Gregg) Parker of Willard, Sharon (Bob) Lee of Shelby and Pam (Brian) Napier of Willard; 11 grandchildren, Robert and Christine Triebold of Chicago, Illinois, Trevor and Kayla Ritz of Shelby, Monica, Brittany and Jonathan Lee of Shelby and Emily, Lorin, Sarah and Rachael Napier of Willard; two sisters, Nancy Harry of Mount Joy, Pennsylvania and Betty Christie of Greenwich and one brother, Robert Boetcher of Attica.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, William Boetcher.
Friends may call on Monday, April 2, 2012 at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 11 AM at the Christian Alliance Church in Willard, with Rev. Jim Trainer officiating. Burial will follow in Greenfield Township Cemetery in Steuben. Memorial contributions can be made to Mercy Hospital of Willard. We are so sorry to hear of Paul’s passing. We have such wonderful memories of Paul and the family. Paul was such a big part of Sarah and John’s early years. The memories just flood back. May all your memories bring you comfort. Paul was an awesome neighbor and friend! Our sympathies to all.
Wilma and family Nancy , Betty and Bob Was so sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I think back Betty and Bob of those fun days when we rode the cows with Paul and Bill.
