Nona Belle Perdue, age 82, of Willard, Ohio, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 27, 2013 at the Stein Hospice in Sandusky, Ohio after a courageous fight with cancer. She was born on June 8, 1931 in Tiro, Ohio to the late Levi and Iva Nona (Keinath) McDougal. Nona graduated from Plymouth High School in 1950 and was a member of the Eastern Stars and the Sunshine Club. She was employed at the A&P Grocery Store in Shelby, OH, Brown’s Flower Shop in Shelby, Hillside Acres in Willard and she retired from Ebert’s Flower Shop in Willard. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much.
She is survived by her husband who she married in 1954, Donald L. Perdue; 2 daughters Terri Bruce of Greenwich, OH and Lisa Adkins of Willard, OH; 2 grandsons Josh (Brandi) Carpenter of Willard and Jesse Lee (April) Bruce of Crestline, OH; 3 great-grandchildren Levi, Baylie and Isabella; 2 sister-in-laws Lillian and Dorothy McDougal and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents Levi and Iva Nona (Keinath) McDougal and two brothers Wayne McDougal and Kenny McDougal.
Friends may call at the First Presbyterian Church in Plymouth, Ohio on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 from 4:00PM – 8:00 PM where the funeral services will be held on Thursday October 31, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Linda Kaufman officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. I am so sorry to hear about Nona’s passing. I have been trying to get a hold of you for sometime, but only get a busy signal when calling the number I have for you. I hope that you are doing OK.

Lisa and Family, I am so sorry to hear of Nona’s passing. I didn’t see the calling hours in the paper or we would have been there. I have many wonderful memories of your mom taking us places as kids and especially the farm. She was a wonderful person. We are thinking of you-Linda and Ken
