Naomi (Reed) Caudill, age 78, of Plymouth, Ohio went to be with Lord on November 9, 2008 at the St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. She was born on March 30, 1930 in Hueysville, Kentucky to the late Hiram and Donna (Prater) Reed and had been a Plymouth resident the majority of her life. She was a homemaker and attended the Willard United Baptist Church. She enjoyed shopping with her sister-in-law, Faye Kessler and having coffee with her grandchildren each morning.
She is survived by her eight children, Marietta (Mike) Gifford of Easley, SC; Darrell (Barb) Caudill of Willard; Penelope Sparks of Plymouth; Ronald (Tracy) Caudill of Plymouth; Deanna (Gary) Music of Plymouth; Timothy Caudill of Willard; Robin (Mike) Gowitzka of Shiloh; Candace (David) Shepherd of Shiloh; 21 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Ray E. Caudill in 2004; a daughter, Christine Caudill; and a grandson, Marcus Gifford.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 from 4-8 PM. A private graveside service will be held on Thursday with Reverend Danny Hamilton officiating at Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Home Away From Home at St. Vincent’s, 2213 Cherry St., Toledo, OH 43608.
