Nancy Hicks, age 78, former Plymouth resident, passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2010 in Liberty Nursing Center of Mansfield. She was born on February 22, 1932 in Hueysville, Kentucky to the late Dan and Susie (Wright) Hicks and had been a Plymouth/Willard resident the majority of her life. Mrs. Hicks was a homemaker, crafter and a wonderful cook and baker, and a great quilter.
She is survived by her four children, Ray Hicks of Mansfield; Pam (Harold) Hall of Topmost, KY; Sherri (John) Spears of Tiro; and Robin (Terry) Baldridge of Willard; ten grandchildren; and three great grandchildren; three sisters, Ruby Risner of Willard; Ruth Moore of Marysville; and Rita Keesy of Shiloh; three brothers, Willis Hicks of Willard; Jackie Hicks of Willard; and Carl Hicks of Lima; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Hicks, whom she married April 22, 1955; an infant daughter, Kathy; an infant great granddaughter, Tori Stephens; one sister and several brothers.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Thursday, May 20, 2010 from 10:00 AM until Noon where the funeral services will be held at Noon with Elder Delmas Hall officiating.
