Mary Lou Staley Knowlden, age 90, of Willard, Ohio passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at the Willows at Willard. She was born on March 25, 1934 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Henry and Bertie (Reed) Staley. Lou was raised in Philo, Ohio and worked for National Memorial Stone in Willard and was a Nanny to many families. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the 8 and 40, and active in the Willard Fire Department Cadets. She attended Willard and Plymouth High School sports as much as possible.

She is survived by her brothers, Joe (Anita) Staley of Philo, Ohio, step-daughter, Dixie (John) Gilliland, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bernard "Bernie" Knowlden in 1993 and her sister, Patricia (Bud) Harrison, brother Jim (Vicky) Staley, and step-daughter, Carol (Hank) Hansel.

There will be a grave side service at a later date at Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven. Check back later for service details. Secor Funeral Home assisted her family with the arrangements.
