Marian A. Ross, age 90, of Port Orange, Florida and formerly of Plymouth, Ohio, passed away Monday, October 14, 2013 at The Willows in Willard, Ohio. She was born March 30, 1923 in Willard, Ohio to the late Bruce L. and Hazel E. (Clark) Johnston. Marian graduated in 1941 from Willard High School and was a member of the Plymouth United Methodist Church. She was a Girl Scout leader and enjoyed bowling, camping and fishing. She was a Navy Veteran of W.W. II.
She is survived by a son, Larry (Inbok) Ross of Buena Park, CA; son-in-law, Kenneth Reiderman of Port Orange, FL; 7 grandchildren, Marlo (Pietro) Spallone of Port Orange, FL, Tiffany (J.R.) Newton of Port Orange, FL, Jeremy (Carolyn) Reiderman of South Riding, VA, Stephanie Ross of Garden Grove, CA, Sasha Ross of Buena Park, CA, Tammy (Joshua) Faris of Culver City, CA and Eric Ross of Buena Park, CA; 7 great grandchildren Nicholas, Sebastiano, Sophia, Leah, Joshua, Matthew and Brooklyn and a sister, Betty Reed of Black Mt., N.C.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William R. Ross; daughter Wendy Lee Reiderman; grandson, Kenneth Edward Reiderman II; her parents, Bruce and Hazel (Clark) Johnston, 3 brothers Richard Johnston, Laverne Johnston and Bruce Johnson and a sister Jane Cook.
Visitation will be Friday, October 18, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, Ohio where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Robert Bloomquist and Rev. Linda Heinlen officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth, Ohio.
