Mabel (Wise) Shenk, 69, of Greenwich, Ohio passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital in Mansfield, Ohio. She was born March 10, 1951 in Ephrata, Pennsylvania to Luke and Lydia (Horst) Wise. On June 28, 1975 she married David Shenk. He survives. She is also survived by 8 children, Judith (Earl) Sauder of New Paris, Ohio, Rebecca Shenk of Greenwich, Ohio, Faith (David) Zimmerman of Shiloh, Ohio, Jacob (Elinor) Shenk of Lake City, Minnesota, Marcus (Lorraine) Shenk of Latham, Missouri, Celina (Richard) Halteman of Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, Martha (David) Halteman of Wellsboro, Pennsylvania and Mary Shenk of Lake City, Minnesota.

Also surviving are 39 grandchildren; step mother, Anna Wise; siblings, Grace (Reuben) Shirk, Lamar (Alta) Wise, Alverna (Kenneth) Martin, Leroy (Grace) Wise, Janet (Dale) Nolt, Luke Ray (Carol Jean) Wise; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mabel was preceded in death by her infant son, Andrew Shenk; and granddaughter, Alyssa Halteman.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at the Woodlawn Mennonite Church, 6940 State Route 13, Shiloh, Ohio from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 4, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Woodlawn Mennonite Church. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The family wishes to express their appreciation for the kind deeds shown to our mother over the years. Secor Funeral Home in Willard is honored to assist Mabel’s family with funeral arrangements.
