Lydia Caudill, age 96, resident of Willard, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2009. She was born on May 31, 1913 in Floyd Co., KY to the late Samuel and Clara (Spradlin) Wright and had been a resident of Willard since 1939. She loved to do needle work, including quilting and crocheting.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Beecher and Betty Caudill of Venice, FL; two daughters and sons-in-law, Allene and John Post of Edina, MN and Gloria Predmore and Lester Seward of Willard; 5 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Caudill on September 11, 1977; her daughter, Irma Jean Caudill; her parents; son-in-law, Kenneth “Dutch” Predmore; one brother, Orville Wright; and one sister, Stella Puckett.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Sunday, November 1, 2009 from 2-7 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, November 2, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Revs. James Wilson and Danny Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. Memorial expressions may be made to Stein Hospice Care. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.secorfuneralhomes.com

I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your lovely mother. She was certainly a very sweet lady. We have all of you in our prayers.
It was so very nice to meet Lydia’s wonderful family..I feel as if we have known you forever. I can’t think of another family that I would have wanted to share my mother’s (Edna Barnett) hospital room with.
May God continue to bless you all.
