Lucy (Barnett) Holida, age 84, of Willard, Ohio died Thursday, June 4, 2015 at her home with family and Stein Hospice by her side. She was born on August 3, 1930 in Carey, Ohio. Lucy enjoyed praising the Lord, fishing, camping, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Juel (Jackie) Hicks, Jeddy Holida, Brenda (Donald) Proffitt all of Willard; daughter in law, Debbie Holida of Willard; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Phyllis and Sue; 3 brothers, Wilbert, Harold, and Willard.
Lucy is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Junior Holida; parents, Noah and Helen Barnett; daughter, Judy Holida; son, James Holida; granddaughter, Julie Stine; great grandson, Patrick Kish; 2 sisters, Mabel and Bethel; 2 brothers, Robert and Oscar.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Monday, June 8, 2015 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM with the funeral service at 2:00 PM with Rev. Ron Parsons officiating. I met Lucy at Mercy Hospital where I volunteer and from the first day that I had the privilege of meeting her and her granddaughter Brooke I felt a liking. To her.She always greeted me with a smile and tho she didn’t say a lot I just waited for her return.I will miss you my sweet Lucy but I know you were tired and you are now in the Good Lords hands.May you rest in peace! It was a privilege to have known you. My deepest sympathy to all of her family and Brooke thanks for being so good to Lucy

I lost my MOM to but just look where she is now resting with our GOD .IAM sorry I can’t come I sure would like to be there with all of you I all ready had plans to leave for Vacating I am leaving Sunday morning with my son and his wife From IN. MY PRAYERS ARE WITH ALL may GOD Bless all of you AMEN
So sorry to hear of Lucys passing ,but Iknow she is happier to be where she is now .. She was a good woman and will be missed.
