Lou D. Gullett, age 90, resident of Plymouth, Ohio passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2012 in the Kingston of Ashland Nursing Home. She was born onApril 20, 1922 in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Barton and Easter (Bailey) Patrick and had been a Plymouth resident since 1941. Mrs. Gullett was a homemaker and was a member of the Church of the Master in Steuben, Ohio.
She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Larue H. Gullett, whom she wed on June 20, 1939; a daughter and two sons-in-law, Deborah and Terry Porter of Kenova, WV; and James Funk of Shelby; one grandson; two step-grandchildren; and one great grandchild; and a sister, Sara (Vern) Salyer of Newark, OH.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Funk in 2011; six brothers, Kash, Price, Burns, Henry, Barton Jr. and Chester Patrick; and two sisters, Lora Moore and Lena Gregory.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, Ohio on Saturday, October 27, 2012 from 11:00 AM to Twelve Noon where the funeral services will be held at Noon. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth, Ohio. Online condolences can be made at www.secorfuneralhomes.com

Deb and Terry,
Lou and Larue always included my mom on their trips and stayed in close contact with her. If I ever wanted to know anything about a family member all I had to do was pick up the phone and call Lou. I want to express my apppreciation for Lou. We will miss her very much.
