Lois M. Bish, age 91, resident of Ontario, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on September 23, 1933 in Kelly Station, Pennsylvania to the late Clair Henry and Florence Alice (Helfrich) Fiscus. Lois graduated from Ford City High School in Ford City, Pennsylvania. She was a member of St. Michael’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pennsylvania and enjoyed collecting owls, sewing, baking, and most of all, spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by a son, John Edward Bish of Gaffney, SC; a daughter, Cindy Lou (Gerald) Alt of New Washington, Ohio; 7 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren and a sister, Bersetta (Owen) Fox of Pennsylvania.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward C. Bish, whom she married on April 30, 1955; a great grandson, Colby Hildreth; a sister, Carol Wiles; infant twin sisters; and 2 brothers, Thomas Fiscus and Donald Fiscus.
