Linda C. Wilson, age 66, of Willard, Ohio passed away at Mercy Willard Hospital on Wednesday, December 23, 2015. She was born on June 5, 1949 in Akron, Ohio to Clifford and Birdie (Rogers) Honaker. Linda was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Willard. She enjoyed crocheting and reading the bible. Linda was a devoted Christian and a loving mother and grandmother. Also, she was known for making her “buckeyes” at Christmas.
She is survived by her husband, Clyde R. Wilson, whom she married on July 7, 1964; 5 children, Dwayne (April) Wilson of Bucyrus, Darrell (Debra) Wilson of Willard, Timothy Wilson of Willard, Tabitha C. Wilson (James Newman) of Mansfield, Linda Sue (Brian) Simpson of Loudonville; 17 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and a brother, James Honaker of Willard.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford Honaker and Birdie Pulliam; a sister, Patricia Wilson; and a brother, David Honaker.
Friends may call at the Freewill Baptist Church in Willard, Ohio on Sunday, December 27, 2015 from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. A funeral service for Linda will be at the church on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Ronald Parsons officiating. Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in Willard.
