Lillian Boock, age 91, resident of Shiloh, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at the Crestwood Care center in Shelby, OH. She was born on May 31, 1914 in Butler, Ohio to late Floyd and Dorothy (Clapper) Eller and had been a Shiloh resident for over 60 years. A 1932 graduate of Mansfield Senior High School, she was co-owner with her late husband, Robert Boock, of Boock’s Market in Shiloh and served as Village Clerk-Treasurer and former members of the American Legion Auxiliary and Eastern Star.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William and Jayne Boock of Shiloh; two granddaughters and spouses, Tami and Brian Kamann of Willard; Tara and Court Sturts of Shelby; three great grandchildren, Michael, Alex and Katilynn Kamann; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Eleanor and Bill Laser of Mansfield.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Boock in 1995, and a sister Patricia Speck.
Friends may call at the Mt. Hope Lutheran Church in Shiloh on Friday, April 14, 2006 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM with Pastor John Wanamaker officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh, Ohio. Memorial expressions can be made to the Mt. Hope Lutheran Church or to MedCentral Hospice.
