To the Seward family, our sincere condolences in the passing of Les. He along with the entire Seward family were such wonderful neighbors and friends and offered our family so much support in a time of great need. I have found memories of working for Les down at the Sunoco station in New Haven as a teenager, he was so kind to give me that opportunity and the life lessons that came with it. Our thoughts and prayers are with Robin, Leslie and Vikki and the entire Seward family.

Dad - As is always the case, there was so much more to your life than an obituary reflects. I’ll always remember your devout commitment to the church - a youth leader and lay leader for many years Your annual trips to Lakeside for the East Oh Conference were a highlight for all of us. I remember your love of restoring vintage cars, your passion for fishing and how much you hated to lose at cards. I recall your love of the beaches in Venice and the deep sea fishing. You loved to eat fish too, as long as it wasn’t too expensive. You have instilled your love of sports in all of us, especially Big10 football, NCAA basketball and the Indians. I loved watching games with you unless it was your Buckeye vs my Wolverines. I hope you forgive me for being the traitor that I was. I remember joining you on a couple of your annual trips over Memorial Day to plant flowers on our family graves. It was a day-long affair traversing OH and ended in a restaurant near Ashland having a piece of pie. You shared during one of those trips that we are all only a generation away from being forgotten. I promise you that I will try to prove you wrong. I love you!

Dear Gloria; I was saddened to read of Les's passing. Les was not only a great business client of my husband and a fishing buddy but a friend of ours. We always could count on Les when asked how he was, the reply and standard answer, he was fine a frog's hair. I will miss my get-togethers with both of you and Bill and Jean Kelly, the last of the fishing buddies. Know all who knew Les will miss him. I send my sympathy and love to you Gloria. May Les Rest In Peace.
