Laura Jean Tackett, age 57, resident of Shiloh, Ohio, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018 at home, surrounded by her family. She was born on September 21, 1960 in Willard, Ohio to the late Bestil Mullins and Joyce (Justice) Howard. Laura enjoyed crocheting, playing dice games, listening to music, and most of all, spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Harry Lee "Bud" Tackett Jr., whom she married on July 16, 1999; 2 daughters, Carla (Jose Castanon) Keaton of Plymouth, Ohio, Darla Flanagan of Plymouth, Ohio; 6 grandchildren, Cody Flanagan, Kayla Arnold, Dakota Clark, Anna Arnold, Brianna Flanagan, Izeyah Castanon; 3 step-children, Jeff (Jenni) Tackett of Plymouth, Jonathan (Ashley) Tackett of Monroeville, and Samatha Tackett of Attica: 6 brothers, Larry (Viola) Mullins of Bucyrus, Ohio, John (Diane) Justice of Shiloh, Ohio, Tim (Maria) Mullins of Willard, Ohio, James (Becky) Mullins of Crestline, Ohio, Harold (Faye) Mullins of Mansfield, Ohio, Mark (Elizabeth) Mullins of Norwalk, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Bestil Mullins and Joyce (Justice) Howard; brother, Ervin Mullins; and her sister, Rosemary Mullins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Messiah's House of Prayer in Shiloh, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM with Rev.
