Larry Dean Lynch, age 65, of New Washington, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at the Norwalk Memorial Home. He was born on September 14, 1958 in Willard, Ohio to the late Arther Ivan and Vivan (Whipp) Lynch. Larry had worked for many years at Janesville Products and for the past 17 years at ArcelorMittal until his retirement in 2023. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion in New Washington and he enjoyed playing golf, watching football, and was an intense OSU fan. Larry had an infectious laugh and loved spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by a sister, Linda (Hascell) Stumbo of Norwalk, OH; brothers, Gary Lynch of Spartanburg, SC and Terry Lynch of Plymouth, OH; and nieces and nephews, Karen (Kevin) Krupp of Norwalk, OH; Sheina (Mark) Adelman of Norwalk, OH; and Leslie (Nick) Meyer of Norwalk, OH; Gary (Natasha) Lynch Jr. of Mansfield, OH; and Tina Kieffer of Spartanburg, SC.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a nephew, Kevin Kieffer; infant twin nieces, Alma and Alva Stumbo; and sister-in-law, Thelma Lynch.

Visitation will be at Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, Ohio on Friday, March 8, 2024 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM where his funeral service will be on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 1:00 PM with Rick Stumbo officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Southern Care Hospice. To Larry’s family, we are so sorry for your loss. Larry was a faithful and true friend from childhood all the way through. Always a genuine smile and hearty laugh (well except if his beloved OSU lost!). He was loved and will be missed.

Larry was my roommate at my first place in New Washington. Never once saw him in a bad mood or angry. Just a delightful person and a great soul. Rest in peace my friend.

To the family of Larry, what a great guy!! Very down to earth and always enjoyed visiting with him. We had a lot of talk about Ohio State football! Always a positive cheerful attitude !! He loved his family. A laugh and personality that will be missed.
