Kenneth E. "Kenny" Danhoff, age 85, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the Willard Mercy Hospital. He was born on May 15, 1932 in Willard to the late Samuel and Jenny (Workman) Danhoff and had been a life long Willard resident. Mr. Danhoff was a graduate of New Haven High School and was once employed with Wiers Farms, Wilcox Garage, the B&O Railroad, and retired from the City of Willard Police Department. He attended the Willard Church of God and was a member of the Willard Moose Lodge #2153. Kenny enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and most of all spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen (Eastman) Danhoff who he married on September 26, 1960; five daughters, Susan (Dick) Beverly of Plymouth, Sharon and (Ken) Holida of Willard, Elana (Doug) Hughes of New Haven, Deborah (Kenny) Miller of Willard, and Rhonda (Ron) Fritz of Willard; fourteen grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two grandchildren, Amber Wright and Adam Castle; four brothers, Pete, John, Robert, and Harold Danhoff; and two sisters, Ruth Postema and Florence Gremmer.
Visitation will be held at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Rhonda Holbrook officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven.
