We all are very saddened by the loss of Karen. She was always more like a big sister than a cousin in childhood on up. She is missed. I spent a lot of time at her house playing with her dolls as kids. When my mother was sick with cancer, my Aunt Pauline (Karen’s mother) came to the house to clean. Karen always came too to help me do my share. Karen always gave me advice, help and support. When we became adults, we would do a lot of shopping together. I will miss her telephone calls, the only thing that kept us close after she got married and moved to New Mexico. My daughters became close to Karen too and have created memories of their own. We hope your good memories give you peace and comfort during these difficult times. We will keep your family in our thoughts & prayers. All our love- Jean and Doug Dickson & our entire families

I had the best childhood ever and we used to have such a fun time in our neighborhood growing up. I always remember you guys had the best candy every time you walked in the door. Then we would go in the TV room and sit in the same chair singing Delta Dawn. She treated me like my mother. I’m so glad I had these memories
