John "JT" Feichtner, age 79, of Willard, Ohio, passed away Friday, March 19, 2021 at St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. He was born on February 22, 1942 in Willard to the late George Ray and Verna (Lebold) Feichtner.

He graduated from Willard High School in 1960 and attended agricultural classes at The Ohio State University. He went on to serve in the Marines and was active in the local reserves. JT was a 3rd generation farmer of Feichtner Farms. He was a member of the Huron County Soil and Water, Huron County Cattleman's Association and was a Superintendent at the Huron County Fair. He enjoyed raising and showing cattle, taking trips out west looking for cattle and most of all, he enjoyed watching his grandkids events.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Donna (Chaffee) Feichtner, whom he married on April 23, 1966; and four children, Heath (Joey) Feichtner, Kim (Brian) Hanlon, Brian (Jaclyn) Feichtner and Margo Feichtner. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Lane, Owen, Faith, Nash, Aubrey "Audrey" and Levi; sister, Dessie Schifer; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Deb (Rick) Berry.

Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by a grandchild, Oliver Feichtner; a brother-in-law, Kenny Schifer; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mildred and Ted Kearney; and brother-in-law, Ted Kearney.

Visitation will be on Monday, March 22, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, where the funeral service will be on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Deb Berry officiating. Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the John Feichtner-Huron County Ag Society.
