Joe Deskins, age 66, resident of Shiloh, Ohio passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Mercy Willard Hospital. He was born on October 3, 1949 in Glo, Kentucky to the late Charles V. and Annis M. (Music) Deskins. He was a retired truck driver from Voisard Industries in Shiloh. As many know, Joe was a comedian, and he enjoyed woodworking and playing with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah (Porter) Deskins; six children, Chad (Angela) Deskins of Middletown, OH, Christine (Travis) Dodds of Franklin, OH, Cara (Bob) Pena of Shelby, Shelly McCormick of Shelby, Crystal Porter of Shiloh, and Faith Deskins of Shiloh; twelve grandchildren; two brothers, Jerry and Tim Deskins of Shiloh; two sisters, Phyllis Arnold of Mansfield, and Tammy Cole of Shiloh; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter, Tonia Shafer and granddaughter, Bella Pena.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, Ohio on Monday, April 25, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Diana Seaman officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in Mt. I sure going to miss one of my favorite buddy’s going to miss him ride his tractor through shiloh and look out the shop door and say look there’s joe riding his tractor going to miss all the good laughs with him sure going to miss him saying funny stuff that made all of us at the shop laugh also he was a very kind hearted person he would give u the shirt off his back to help someone well god called another angle home and I’m very sorry for ur lose guys we are all going to miss him very much rip old buddy
