Joanne M. Fidler, age 81, of New Haven, Ohio, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021 peacefully at home. She was born June 1, 1939 in Willard to the late Cecil and Marjorie Smith. Joanne and her husband were previous owner and operators of Fids Gas and Fids Drive Thru in Plymouth for many years. She enjoyed going to dog races with her family and friends, turkey shooting and playing cards.
Joanne is survived by her husband Howard (Jim) Fidler and her two children Kathy Fidler of Plymouth and Mike (Angie) Fidler of New Haven. Grandchildren Benjamin Timson, Jacob (Jessica) Fidler, Grant Fidler and Samantha Kamann and great grandchildren Jackson, Nolan, Marley and Scarlet Fidler.
Joanne was preceded in death by her son-in-law Brian Timson, brother and sister-in-law Edward and Shirley Heckman and her parents Cecil and Marjorie Smith.
Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements. There will be no calling hours or funeral at this time and she will be buried at the Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio at a later date.
