Jimmy L. Alsept, age 53, resident of Shelby passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at his home. He was born on March 30, 1957 in Willard, Ohio to Glen Alsept and the late Leona (Patrick) Alsept Sexton. Jimmy worked mostly at odd jobs and was a member of the Pentecoastal Church. He loved family gatherings. He had a good sence of Humor and was loved by all who knew him.
He is survived by his father and step-mother, Glen and Mary Ann Alsept; eight brothers and sisters, Glenna (Randall) Workman of Shelby, Danny Alsept of Indiana, Timmy Sexton of Shelby, Stephanie (Doug) Finnegan of Shiloh, Kenny Alsept of Mansfield, Travis Alsept of Shiloh, Cheryl Alspet of Shiloh and Julie Alsept of Shelby; one special aunt and uncle Kim and Tim Warren and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his Grandmother, Lela Patrick; Mother and step-father, Leona (Cletis) Sexton; three brothers, Donald Sexton, Cletis Sexton Jr. and Joseph Sexton and one niece Abby Finnegan.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Sunday, September 26, 2010 from 2-8PM. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 27, 2010 at 10AM with Pastor Roy Kilgore officiating. Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven.
