Jantz C. Morey, age 51, resident of Willard, Ohio, passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018, at his home. He was born on January 5, 1967 in Willard, Ohio to Ronald and Alice (Timblin) Morey, Sr. Jantz is a Willard High School graduate, and went on to proudly serve in the U.S. Army. He worked as a custodian for Willard High School for 18 years. Jantz enjoyed fishing and had over the years collected sports memorabilia, baseball cards, and arrowheads.
He is survived by his parents, Alice and Ronald Morey, Sr. of Willard; and a brother, Ronald Morey Jr. (Denise Shepherd) of Willard.

I met Jantz at the Sheffield Lake sports car show many years ago. Over time we became friends a spent time talking an texting about sports cards, society and about today's youth. He was a very kind man...always helping out those around him especially my son...who has cried his eyes out hearing of his loss...I know that the world is a little less better without him...God bless!

He and I had many after school conversations about so may topics - kids, the military, the outdoors, politics, the state of our society - we solved so many of the world's problems when he came to clean my classroom each day. I can’t even count the number of times that I relied on Jantz’s help and expertise when preparing for my music programs. I met Jantz through card collecting some 20 yrs ago. He accompanied me to many large shows in Chicago and Baltimore. We rode together, shared hotel rooms, I just did a show with him in Toledo a week ago Sunday. The last thing we said to each other is that we needed to stay in contact more often. I could never say enough good things about Jantz, He was kind, humble, honest, respectful, well-mannered, I could write a book. My heart is heavy and I send my condolences to all of his family.
