Janice L. (Crouse) Kinsey, age 80, passed away on November 22, 2021 at the Willows at Willard. She was born on June 28, 1941 in Rome, Ohio to the late Ivan and Madora (Bradrick) Crouse.
Janice attended Shiloh School. She went on to work at Pioneer Rubber Company in Willard, Ohio, and then General Motors in Defiance, Ohio, where she retired after 25 years. She enjoyed spending time with her siblings when they visited and singing old country songs with her daughters. Other activities she enjoyed were crocheting, gambling, traveling, and collecting Native American Indian items and angel figurines.
Janice is survived by: her children, Karen Miller of Johnstown, CO, Deborah Holloman of Plymouth, OH, Cindy (Ron) Perkins of Willard, OH, Don Horner of Platteville, CO, Bridgett (Ed) Ball of Radnor, OH, and George Kinsey III of Indiana; grandchildren, Sharla Viloria, Teri Jump, Ela Brandt, Jadyn Miller, Crystal (Roby) Patton, Carla (Ed) Angel, Thomas (Rachelle) Caudill, Mark Horner, Ashley Ball, Colton Knepper, Karian (Tony) Williamson, Jazmine (Isaiah) Allwine, and Brandon (Brittany) Kinsey; 32 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren; former husband, George Kinsey; siblings, Alice (Mac) Garcia, Shirley Richmond, Jim Crouse, Gene (Janet) Crouse, and Harry Crouse. Janice is also survived by long time friend Brenda Bruce, special friend Sam Predieri, and Nancy Eldridge.
In addition to her parents, Janice is preceded in death by Robert Crouse, Harold Crouse, Martha Alvarado, Betty Caudill and Gerry Crouse, grandson Matthew Holloman, and son-in-law James Holloman and daughter Pam (Kinsey) Knepper.
Visitation will be on Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, Ohio. Her Celebration of Life will be Saturday, November 27 at 12:00 p.m. at Secor Funeral Home with Brother Marty Carty officiating. A luncheon will be served after the Celebration of Life at the Plymouth American Legion 112 Trux St. Plymouth, OH, and served by Ehret Parsel Unit 447 Auxiliary. Burial will take place at a later date. Donations may be made to Stein Hospice or to Ehret Parsel Unit 447 Auxiliary to help support our veterans.
