I have so many good memories of Janet. Her daughter Nancy and I are dear friends for many decades. Nancy had to go out of town but had just taken in a couple of kittens so Janet rushed down to babysit her new grand kittens. I volunteered to pick up Janet and spends some days with her. I took her to brunch at one of my favorite tea rooms, had lots of play time with the kittens and took her to mass the upcoming Sunday. She talked about those days for years including that I picked her up with my crown Victoria full of rolls of pink fiberglass hanging out of the windows and trunk. Just barely enough room for tiny Janet. I remember the many times she would be visiting Nancy and we would always go out to eat and adventure into the Texas hill country to visit flower seed and plant farms. I just loved her sense of humor and sarcasm and loving going to see new places. Then there was the year I was going to be alone at Christmas so she invited me to come to Ohio and spend it with her family. So gracious and caring. Then there are the many interest that we shared. The love of quilting, cats and God. Janet had very strong faith and it showed in how welcoming of me into their family she was. I always looked forward to visits with both her and her husband when they came to Texas. I could go on with many funny stories, but what I want to say is keep this family in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this journey until they all are with each other again with our loving Lord. Lots of love, Brenda Cobb
