Condolences
I’m one of Janets’ cousins from San Diego. I was one of the city kids that used to go to Aunt Bernies and Uncle Hanks on Sunday after church. Some of my best childhood memories are from Greenbush Road, including the times that Diane and Janet would talk me into touching the electric fence and “helping” my cousins with their milking chores.. and the family reunions at Camp Conger and skipping stones on the Huron River. I’m sure that Uncle Hank and Diane were waiting with open arms in welcome. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. May God continue to bless you and your families.
Dear Family of Janet Kennard,
I want to express my sincere sympathy for the loss of your loved one. You can be assured that comfort and hope are found in the pages of the Bible.
Revelations 21:4 speaks of a time when GOD will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and death will be no more. This is a wonderful hope for our future.
Please take care of yourselves.
Sincerely
Mrs. Sandi Watkins
Tom, Rachel, Tommy and family,
Janet was a very special and classy lady. God has richly blessed me for having her as my friend.
Her smile will be missed here, but one day you will be with her again. And what a happy reunion that will be. She is now with our God and happy and healthy.
She will always be in our hearts.
Our prayers go out to your family.
Tom and Family.
“Live in such a way, that those who know you, but don’t know God, will come to know God, because they know you”
When I look at that saying it reminds me of Janet. She had a servants heart and she always had a smile on her face. Her memory will live on in those who loved her and those whose lives she has touched. She will be missed.
Derek and Sandy Hamons and Family
Please accept my condolences at this sad time of saying goodbye. You have so many wonderful memories of her life to take with you always. I knew her mainly from the fair foods department. But she was a gracious and happy person. I will miss her.
Tom & Family – you have my deepest sympaythy. May God bless you and wrap his comforting arms around you.
Dear Tom and Family,
Please know how saddened we were to hear of your loss. Janet was such a special person always smiling and reaching out to everyone she came in contact with. She is with God now, and knowing that, you and your family will find comfort. Touching so many lives with her own life is truly a gift from God that will never be taken away.
Tom, Rachel and Tommy,
Your Mother was a highlight of my teaching career with her talent and energy to always respond when my class or the PTG needed anything! Her enthusiasm was contagious. I feel very honored to have worked with her through the years at New Haven.
Use her as a role model for your own families-
You have my deepest sympathy.

Tom, Rachel, Tommy, and the rest of the family,
If the Lord ever needed to write another book in the Bible, he could call it the book of Janet; for she showed us how to live a Godly life each day. Her constant smile was a reflection for her love of Christ, family, children, and humanity. There are no words to lessen the pain that is in each and everyone of us who knew Janet, however each and everyone of us can be called blessed for we knew a Heavenly Angel here on Earth.
Janet is probably leading a huge children’s choir right now. Can you imagine what she could do with all that talent in heaven after she successfully turned out play after play despite having to use all the Hamons kids?
My thoughts and prayers will continue to be with you in the hard times to come.
“Whoever receives one of these little children in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me, receives not Me but Him who sent Me.” Mark 9:37
To The Kennard Family – My thoughts and prayers are with you. The very short time I spent with Janet, I found her to be a beautiful & strong woman – God Bless you all

It’s been many years since I’ve seen my cousin Janet. Whenever we visited the Stein family, Janet always made time for her much younger cousins. We appreciated her welcoming smile, her sense of humor, and her kindness to two little girls. The outpouring of messages from those who knew Janet as an adult show that she continued to be a caring person who touched the lives of others. My thoughts and prayers are with Tom and family.
Janet will truly be missed, from my time in 4H to Willard Church of God, Tom and Janet and the family were always pillars to me, someone to look towards for strength, support, and leadership. Our love and condolences go out to Tom, Rachel and Tommy.
Tom and Family, thinking of you with our thoughts and prayers. May Gods Holy Spirit comfort YOU!
MAY GOD BLESS YOU RICHLY,
In Our prayers,
Danny &
Maryann Patrick
We were so blessed to have known Janet. She taught Michael in Sunday school and has been a wonderful Mother-in-law to my sister Erin. Her faith, kindness and humble demeanor were only part of what made her an amazing and Godly woman and her warm smile and Christ-like love have been a witness to us all. There are no words to describe how much she will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all – Karen & Duane Frankart & Michael Smith
Kennard Family: I was saddened to hear of Janet’s passing. Her smile almost outshined the lights of the midway at the fair. My sympathy.

Janet was a wonderful person and she will be missed deeply. Just remember Tom your family is here for you and your kids.
Rachel & family – I will always remember Janet’s sweet, kind smile she would beam when I saw her at the Fair each year. As a nervous 4-Her she always would put you at ease. I am sure that she & Diane are catching up & having a good laugh right now. Please know that you are in our thoughts & prayers.

DEAR TOM, RACHEL & TOMMY,
I WAS SADDENED TO HEAR OF JANET’S PASSING. PLEASE FIND COMFORT IN THE FACT SHE IS NO LONGER SUFFERING AND MAY YOU SMILE AND LAUGH REMEMBERING ALL YOUR HAPPY TIMES TOGETHER.
I thank God that I had the honor of being one of the children Janet touched in her 30+ years of teaching Sunday School. She was fairly newly married, so I believe I must have been in one of her first classes. What a blessing it was to know her and see her example as I grew up in the church. I was also blessed enough to have Janet teach my daughter and also lead her in the children’s choir. Kaytie has a deep love for praise and worship music that I’m sure was nurtured by Janet. What a legacy to pass on to her children and grandchildren. Please know that all of you have been and continue to be in our prayers.
Dear Tom, Rachel, Tommy & family,
Words just don’t seem enough at this time to let you know how much we care for you and ache with you at this difficult time. Janet will truly be missed at church. She has touched so many children’s lives at the church. Our children included. She was definitely a Proverbs 31 woman. What a legacy to leave to her children & grandchildren! Our loss is heaven’s gain. All of your family are in our prayers. We loved & appreciated her & each and everyone of you so much!
Love,

I said, “God it’s such a loss” And God said, “I saw mine nailed to a cross.” I said, “God, but your loved one lives.” And God said, “so does yours.” I said, “God, it still hurts.”And God said, “I know”

Janet will be deeply missed. For over thirty years Janet shared the love of Jesus Christ with thousands of young people. Her warmth, her smile and her heart for others was evident. Since 1969 she has been a faithful friend to the Willard Church of God. Our sympathy and prayer go out to Tom, Tommy, Rachel and the entire family. You are loved and you will see her again.

Crystal and I are at a loss for words. We know that Willard will never be the same. In our time there Janet in her love for Jesus and the church was always a steady and faithful example of service and devotion. Please know that we are heart broken with you. We know that she is with the Lord and enjoying all the rewards of heaven and her hard work. We understand that she is not suffering. Yet, we also grieve with such a sad departure of a wonderful woman. Heaven is truly blessed and we are truly saddened with you in her death.
Our prayers and thoughts are with you,
